CS2 moved to the Source 2 engine and is heavier than the game we knew: a strong CPU, fast memory and NVMe storage matter more here than the graphics card. But what truly decides is your 1% Low — the worst frames. That is where misses happen.
Every tier runs CS2. The difference shows in stability, and especially in the low frames:
CS2 players feel everything through the monitor. If you are torn between a stronger GPU and a 240Hz screen — in this game the screen wins.
On the basic tier you get good frames at 1080p, and from the Gamer tier we talk about a stable 240FPS. CS2 is sensitive to low frames, so that is what we aim at.
Because the moment you had to shoot is decided by the worst frame, not the average. A PC with a high average but a bad 1% Low feels stuttery — and that is what we check.
Yes, in CS2 it is one of the most noticeable upgrades — especially in low frames and stability.
240Hz if you play competitively; 144Hz is a reasonable minimum. Either can be added to your order.
